Every person wishing to obtain approval to manufacture or import a hazardous substance for release or containment must submit an application to ERMA New Zealand.

Model applications have been developed and will be supported by extensive ERMA New Zealand explanatory material and workshops.

The relevant models, forms and application process descriptions, together with details of the data required to support the application may be obtained from the ERMA New Zealand web-site at www.ermanz.govt.nz
